Here are a few of my onsite sketches for the venues whilst I've been visiting them in the city, they're not brilliant i'll admit, and lately I've just been focusing on the outlines of them. I don't want to get drawn in to spending so much time on all of the nitty gritty details, when the venue is only one of the elements within my final ideas.

SO pleased that I finally got a decent image of the winter gardens, I have been struggling so much with getting the arc shape right, it had little ridges in it that i've been finding hard to do.

I wanted to do a detailed bit of the winter garden "ridgy roof"

unfortunately the day I went to Western Park, it was chucking it down with rain and I didn't pack an umbrella! was an awfully miserable day, so I didn't get a good range or images really, I took a few photos though and I'm going back to do more I hope.
